Our story starts with the Modern Age, just six months after the conquest of Granada, July 1492. Granada was the residency of Jorge Luis II, a high nobility nobleman, because he had many towns to control, and of his sister Maria Catalina. He had a child, Gaspar, and his wife had died due to the plague during 1492. An Arabic doctor also prestigious, Saladino Kourraouch, tried to help the nobleman's wife instead of giving him a house in Granada. Although the woman died, he had been a friend for all the town, so he was staying there. In another place, Pablo, a farmer. He was working on the fields around the town. He was worried about the taxes that he had to pay to the nobleman. The witch of the town, locked in the dungeon, was preparing one of her potions to escape, meanwhile a low nobility nobleman was praying also to have not to pay taxes.

The plot of all events is that some inhabitants were divided in two groups: the one that wanted to kill Jorge Luis, and the other, that wanted to stop them. On the bad one, there were the witch, Gaspar, Pablo, a bandit, and the low nobility nobleman, and the good ones are Jorge Luis, his sister, the doctor and the bishop.

So the indignation of the group, let's say less prestigious, was due to the difference of quality of life between each other, because while ones slept on pillows, these slept on chickens. Except a character; Gaspar.

Gaspar was walking one day, soon in the morning, through the woods, when, suddenly, a bandit, unknown to him, came out of a bush. He, scared, didn't know what to do, but the bandit heard to his indignation and seemed to be a cause for fight. She decided to join his side and gave Gaspar a potion made by the witch in instead of four silver coins, and without saying anything else, she disappeared among the bushes.

The potion was poisonous, and he wanted to give it to his father for him to inherit his position. The next day, Jorge Luis had to go to Rome because Innocent VIII, the pope of the Catholic church, had died. Gaspar, furious, wanted to give him the potion, but he felt sorry for his father. He wanted to reveal himself differently, so when his father left, he began a fight against the doctor, the bishop and Maria Catalina.

The fight lasted two days, Gaspar needed help from the farmer and Jose Luis, the low nobility nobleman, to be able to win with this side. Finally, the doctor died, the person most needed there.

When Jorge Luis arrived, he saw all the scandal that his son had produced, and he had no choice but to leave the position, before the king and queen of Castilla realized the events.

Gaspar did not inherit the position, because the nobleman didn't leave his charge, but he had to change the quality of life of certain people, and he learned what it was to be a non-privileged man, at that time.
